CLIENT NAME: J & E.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The clients of this home built in the 90s wanted
to transform their lower level into a space for entertaining. What was
a single large room now features an enclosed and dedicated home cinema, gym, bar, game room, bathroom and a
Jack hammering and discarding the concrete floor slab and digging into the
ground below allowed us to add ceiling height and create the stadium (step
in the home theatre. Elaborate millwork, rope lighting above the crown
molding and even lights built-in into the steps was included so the movie
experience is recreated.
The half-wall in the home gym defines the space while also keeping it open
to the rest of the lower level. The extensive bar area was created
with space for dishwasher drawers, wine refrigerators and a microwave.
Three windows were added to this area to bring in light. A full bath with
intricate shower tiling was added to the far corner of the space. And
finally, stonework alterations outside the home were necessary to complete
this transformation. Encore please!
