APress.gif (1844 bytes) ONE YEAR  ANNIVERSARY

Last week marked the one year anniversary that construction on The Beach House began. As a freelance writer for this project I have observed first hand the tremendous amount of time and care that has been placed into the top to bottom transformation of this home. Far from an ordinary renovation the amount of thought and detail that have been part of this project is truly remarkable. The most recent milestone that should begin next week, following the passing of inspections, is the closing of the interior walls with drywall.

Below are the most recent progress pictures of the exterior front and back along with a very brief description of just a few of the many features that will be incorporated into the interior of the home.

Some of the interior features that will make The Beach House a one-of-a-kind property:

*Lighting design: LED lights strategically placed to highlight reclaimed beams, glass doors, fireplaces, and other unique features.

*Layout: Recessed shelving and built-in cabinetry will ensure every square inch of space in the home is utilized to full potential.

*Flooring: The original wood flooring was removed at the beginning of the project and will be refinished and installed back into the house.

*Windows and Doors: The addition of full wall doors and enlarging of existing windows dramatically increases natural light in the home and offers 180 degree views of the lake.

*Whole house automation system: Will allow all systems within the home to be operated from a mobile device.
